Job Purpose

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses for the Department of Decision Sciences & Management.

Essential Functions

Teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Scholarly activity consistent with AACSB standards. Service to the department, university, and profession.

Minimum Qualifications

Earned doctoral degree in Business Analytics/Operations Research/Management Science or a related field from an AACSB-accredited institution (ABDs nearing completion will be considered). Teaching/research focus on Business Analytics. Excellence in teaching and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to publish research in peer-reviewed journals.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of optimization software (e.g., R, Python, RapidMiner, SAS) and prescriptive analytic techniques. Ability to teach online and/or hybrid courses.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Commensurate with education and experience. Full-time, nine-month, tenure-track position to begin August 1, 2018.
Benefits Information

Benefits include the accumulation of one sick leave day per month and thirteen University holidays. Other benefits include medical and life insurance (shared cost with the university), retirement, optional 401k, and educational benefits. Deferred income and benefits over 12 months.
