Job Purpose

Direct College of Business (COB) marketing, program administration, and alumni/external partnership engagement activities.

Essential Functions

Work with faculty, staff, campus partners and external constituents to design, implement, and promote COB programs, centers, and strategic initiatives. Identify opportunities, develop and articulate proposals, and promote academic, co-curricular and professional programs. Other responsibilities include project management, resource allocation, and budgeting. Plan and coordinate COB advisory board meetings, conferences, alumni events and the distinguished lecture series. Lead marketing, promotion and outreach efforts. Maintain regular communication with business executives, community leaders, and other individuals committed to the advancement of the college.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Five years of related experience in areas such as program planning, partnership building, fundraising, communications and marketing, or managing executive-level meetings and community, college and university events. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to influence decision makers. Demonstrated ability to build working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strong organizational and project management skills. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to recognize opportunities and match them with college/university strategic priorities, as well as financial and human resources. Ability to plan and lead through change. General knowledge of academic institutions and associated policies, budgeting processes, and operational procedures. Proficiency in identifying and implementing creative and efficient solutions to organizational problems.

Work Hours

Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Additional hours if/when needed.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Commensurate with education and experience; Administrative Pay Grade AD45.
Benefits Information

Benefits include the accumulation of two vacation days per month and one sick leave day per month, and thirteen University holidays. Other benefits include medical and life insurance (shared cost with the university), retirement, optional 401k, and educational benefits.
