Job Purpose

Directing and managing all activities associated with programming at Camp Clements FFA Leadership Camp.

Essential Functions

Manage all programming aspects of Camp Clements. Develop and implement a marketing plan for the camp and its facilities. Manage financial aspects of Camp Clements including funds received from user groups and special project funding from the Tennessee Department of Education.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Three years of related work experience. Experience supervising employees. Experience with budgeting, accounting and bookkeeping procedures. Experience with computer programs including accounting programs. Experience working with youth and adults in meeting goals for leadership and personal development. Experience developing marketing materials. Ability to work cooperatively with people of all ages, gender, ethnicity, and educational backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with an FFA Leadership Camp. Experience working with Tennessee Department of Education policies and procedures.

Work Hours

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Commensurate with education and experience; Administrative Pay Grade AD44. This is a full-time, 12-month, grant funded position; its continuation is contingent upon future funding.
Benefits Information

Benefits include the accumulation of two vacation days per month and one sick leave day per month, and thirteen University holidays. Other benefits include medical and life insurance (shared cost with the university), retirement, optional 401k, and educational benefits.
