Job Purpose

Directs all internal and external special project initiatives at TTU iCube.

Essential Functions

Direct all internal and external special project initiatives at TTU iCube including the development and implementation of public policy campaigns and programs. Direct the development and implementation of state, regional, and national virtual reality and related emerging technology demonstration projects. Lead innovation workshops for internships in virtual reality, marketing and other key iCube areas. Supervise managers and staff involved in iCube projects. Author, develop, manage, implement, multiple external grants contributing to iCube sustainability in the two million dollar range. Manage interdisciplinary teams and interns from all colleges working on various grant and internship projects (potentially 50 + projects).

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree from an accredited institution. Five years of grant management experience. Experience working with traffic safety industry professionals, law enforcement agencies, and State and Local Leaders. Excellent communication and problem solving skills. Experience with website content management, graphic design, and management of task oriented teams. Ability to work with outside vendors to communicate program needs and goals for production of program materials.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with State and Federal grant management systems, HR systems, and fiscal systems. Knowledge and education of laws and regulations regarding occupant protection. Experience with injury prevention and public health programs. Experience with Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Drupal Content Management System.

Work Hours

Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Additional hours if/when needed.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Commensurate with education and experience; Administrative Pay Grade AD47. This is a full-time grant-funded position; its continuation is contingent upon future funding.
Benefits Information

Benefits include the accumulation of two vacation days per month and one sick leave day per month, and thirteen University holidays. Other benefits include medical and life insurance (shared cost with the university), retirement, optional 401k, and educational benefits.
